In this video, we demonstrate the isolation and culture of bone marrow stromal cells from the long bones of mice. The isolated adherent BMSCs can be used for further analysis.

Protocol

All procedures involving animal models have been reviewed by the local institutional animal care committee and the JoVE veterinary review board. 1. Harvest of Bones from Mice Euthanize the animals using CO2 followed by cervical dislocation and spray them with 70% ethanol.
