نبض سرعة الموجة (PWV) قياس يقيم تصلب الشرايين عن طريق نظام قائم على قياس توتر الذي يقيس السرعة التي موجة الضغط الشرياني يسافر على طول شجرة الشرايين، وعادة تقارب الوقت الذي يستغرقه هذه الموجة للسفر من الشريان الأورطي النازل (باستخدام السباتي الشريان كبديل) إلى شريان الفخذ. -السباتي الفخذ PWV يزيد يومين إلى ثلاثة أضعاف عبر عمر الكبار.
