Die Proteinsynthese ist ein kritischer biologischer Prozess für Zellen. Im Gehirn ist es für adaptive Veränderungen erforderlich. Die Messung der Raten der Proteinsynthese im intakten Gehirn erfordert sorgfältige methodische Überlegungen. Hier stellen wir die l-[1-14C]-eucinquantitative autoradiographische Methode zur Bestimmung der regionalen Raten der zerebralen Proteinsynthese in vivo vor.
