للتطبيقات المستقبلية بمثابة التصحيح لإصلاح الدموع الجزئي للالرباط المتصالب الأمامي (ACL)، تم عزل ACL الإنسان الخلايا المشتقة من الأنسجة التي تم الحصول عليها خلال إجراءات ترميمية، وسعت في المختبر، ونمت على الأنسجة المهندسة والسقالات. ثم تم إجراء التصاق الخلوية والتشكل لتأكيد توافق مع الحياة على سطح السقالة.
