Experimentele werkwijzen voor snelle pyrolyse van lignocellulosebiomassa bio-olie te produceren en voor de katalytische hydrobehandeling van bio-oliën actieradius koolwaterstoffen worden gepresenteerd. Hot-damp filtratie tijdens snelle pyrolyse tot fijne deeltjes char en anorganische verontreinigingen uit bio-olie te verwijderen werd ook beoordeeld.
