De onderstaande protocol beschrijft de methode voor: microplastics bemonstering op het zeeoppervlak, scheiding van microplastic en chemische karakteristieken van de deeltjes. Dit protocol is in lijn met de aanbevelingen voor microplastics controle uitgegeven door de krm technische subgroep Marine Litter.
