Dit manuscript details een eenvoudig punt vlek assay voor kwantificatie van adeno-associated virus (AAV) titers en de toepassing ervan op het bestuderen van de rol van de vergadering-activeren eiwitten (AAPs), een nieuwe klasse van niet-structurele virale eiwitten gevonden in alle AAV serotypen, bij het bevorderen van de vergadering van capsids afgeleid van cognaat en heterologe AAV serotypen.
