وهنا يقدم تقنيات لقياس ديفورمابيليتي الخلايا الحمراء وعدم تجانس الخلوية اكتاسيتوميتري. هذه التقنيات قابلة للتطبيق للتحقيقات العامة من ديفورمابيليتي الخلايا الحمراء وتحقيقات محددة من أمراض الدم التي تتميز بوجود كل جامدة وتشوه الخلايا الحمراء في الدورة الدموية، مثل الأنيميا المنجلية.
