I denne undersøgelse beskriver vi en detaljeret protokol for at inducere levervesikulær steatose i differentierede heparg-celler med fedtsyresalt natriumoleat og anvende metoder til påvisning og kvantificering af lipid-akkumulering, herunder sammenhængende anti-Stokes Raman spredning (biler) mikroskopi, cytofluorimetriske analyse, olie rød O farvning, og qPCR.
