Ein Point-of-Care-Ultraschall (POCUS) ist ein einfaches, nicht-invasives und tragbares Instrument, das eine dynamische Beurteilung der Atemwege ermöglicht. In mehreren Studien wurde versucht, die Rolle von Ultraschallparametern als Ergänzung zur klinischen Untersuchung bei der Vorhersage schwieriger Laryngoskopien zu bestimmen.
