En pasientnær ultralyd (POCUS) er et enkelt, ikke-invasivt og bærbart verktøy som muliggjør dynamisk luftveisvurdering. Flere studier har forsøkt å bestemme rollen til ultralydparametere som et supplement til klinisk undersøkelse for å forutsi vanskelige laryngoskopier.
