Dit is een eenvoudig protocol van een gerstbladschedetest met minimale reagentia en gemeenschappelijke laboratoriumapparatuur (inclusief een basissmartphone). Het doel is om het vroege infectieproces van blastziekte in laboratoria te visualiseren zonder toegang tot geavanceerde microscopieapparatuur.
