Jillian Josimovich Fort Collins Science Center, Invasive Species Science U.S. Geological Survey Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Jillian Josimovich Jillian Josimovich is a Biologist with the U.S. Geological Survey's Fort Collins Science Center. She is stationed in Everglades National Park and assists with ongoing invasive reptile control and containment research in southern Florida. Jillian received her B.A. in biology with honors from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and a M.S. in biology from Purdue University Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne, IN. For her master's degree, Jillian studied how translocation techniques influence the survival and movement of federally threatened eastern massasauga rattlesnakes. She has also worked on a variety of other herpetological research projects throughout the eastern United States. Jillian is particularly interested in applied research that informs the conservation and management of herpetofauna and the ecosystems that they rely on.
