Mikroglial fagocytose er kritisk for opretholdelse af vævshomeostase og utilstrækkelig fagocyterende funktion er blevet impliceret i patologien. Men vurderer mikroglia funktion in vivo er teknisk udfordrende. Vi har udviklet en enkel men robust teknik til præcis overvågning og kvantificering af fagocytiske potentiale mikroglia i et fysiologisk miljø.
