Gerhard J Schütz Institute of Applied Physics TU Wien Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Gerhard J Schütz Gerhard Schütz is interested in single molecule biophysics and its application to live cell biology. His group engaged in the development of a toolbox of techniques devised to understand plasma membrane-proximal signaling processes. This includes single molecule tracking, single molecule localization microscopy, and molecular association analysis. Particularly, his work focusses on understanding the molecular mechanisms behind T cell antigen recognition.
