He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Master’s degree in Bionantechnology and currently working on a PhD thesis titled: The application of wearable technology and Smartphone rehabilitation applications to hip and knee replacement surgery. Shay also has a keen interest in the use of virtual reality (VR) in orthopaedic related surgical simulators and currently working on number of projects to validate some of the best available VR simulators for arthroscopy and total knee replacement surgeries.
