Hier beschrijven we een gedetailleerd protocol waarin een nieuwe TL kleuring techniek voor de detectie van de totale proteïne in polyacrylamide gels. Het protocol maakt gebruik van een zilveren ion-specifieke fluorescentie turn-on sonde, die Ag+detecteert-eiwitcomplexen, en elimineert bepaalde beperkingen van traditionele chromogenic zilveren vlekken.
