Er zijn vele beschikbare opties voor het beheer van de patiënt met trigeminusneuralgie. Microvasculaire decompressie, terwijl de meest invasieve van alle opties, is ook de meest effectieve op het bereiken van lange termijn remissie van de symptomen.
