Biz GPCRs çeşitli hedef konumlarda doğal olmayan amino asit, p-azido-L-fenil alanin-kodlayan ve genetik olarak farklı uygulamalarda Azido grubunun çok yönlülüğünü gösterir. Bunlar, bir GPCR olan ligand bağlama cebinde tortuları tanımlamak için hedef foto-çapraz teknolojisi ve bir peptid epitop ya da flüoresan probu ile GPCRs alana özgü bioorthogonal modifikasyonunu içerir.
