Een aanpak wordt beschreven voor real-time detectie van de ingeboren immune reactie op het verwonden van cutane en Staphylococcus aureus -infectie van muizen. Door vergelijking LysM-EGFP muizen (die bezitten fluorescerende neutrofielen) met een LysM-EGFP gekruist immunodeficiëntie muis stam, we vooraf ons begrip van de infectie en de ontwikkeling van benaderingen ter bestrijding van de infectie.
