Een geschikt diermodel is nodig om de pathologische mechanismen die ten grondslag liggen aan aortaklepstenose (AVS) te begrijpen en om de werkzaamheid van therapeutische interventies te evalueren. Dit protocol beschrijft een nieuwe procedure voor de ontwikkeling van het AVS-konijnenmodel via een directe ballonverwonding in vivo.
