The binding activity of immobilized antibodies was evaluated. Based on these results, a glutaraldehyde cross-linking method was used to develop a novel paper-based immunoassay for immunoglobulin G (IgG) detection. Medicine The Dimethylnitrosamine Induced Liver Fibrosis Model in the Rat Kum Fai Chooi1, Dinesh Babu Kuppan Rajendran1, Siew Siang Gary Phang1, Han Hui Alden Toh1 1Technology Development, School of Applied Science, Temasek Polytechnic We describe a method to produce an animal model of liver fibrosis in the rat, and assess the degree of fibrosis by histological examination of the liver. The model can be used to study the development of liver disease as well as to test the efficacy of potential anti-fibrotic agents.
