The use of the MycoPatt method permits the calculation of parameters, the conversion of mycorrhizal structures into digital data, and the mapping of their real position in roots. Medicine Dissection Techniques and Histological Sampling of the Heart in Large Animal Models for Cardiovascular Diseases Irina Constantin1, Alexandru Flaviu Tăbăran1 1Department of Pathology, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca Due to the complex anatomy, a consistently reproducible dissection and harvesting protocol for cardiac samples can be challenging to implement. This manuscript presents the key elements of some standard cardiac dissection protocols, highlighting both the gross examination approaches and the sampling sites commonly used for histopathologic examination. Specifically, the present work illustrates how to collect immature and mature horse oocytes by ultrasound-guided ovum pick-up (OPU) and how to investigate chromosome segregation, spindle morphology, global histone acetylation, and mRNA expression.
