Stervende cellen zijn geëxtrudeerd uit epitheelweefsels door gezamenlijke contractie van naburige cellen zonder verstoring van de barrièrefunctie. De optische helderheid van ontwikkelen zebravis biedt een uitstekende systeem om extrusie visualiseren in levende epithelia. Hier beschrijven we methoden om te induceren en imago extrusie in het larvale zebravis epidermis op cellulair resolutie.
