Een nieuwe methode om macrofagen te verkrijgen van de primaire cultuur van de levercellen wordt beschreven. Deze methode maakt gebruik van de proliferatie van macrofagen in de cultuur, gevolgd door het schudden van de cultuur kolven en zuivering door middel van selectieve gehechtheid aan plastic schaaltjes. Deze techniek biedt een efficiënte lever macrofagen, zonder ingewikkelde apparatuur en vaardigheden.
