Eksperimentell sepsis kan bli indusert i mus ved hjelp av cecal ligering og punktering (CLP)-metoden. Gjeldende forskrifter for å bestemme autophagy in vivo i forbindelse med CLP-indusert sepsis er presentert her: En protokoll for å måle ved hjelp av autophagy (GFP)-LC3 mus, og en protokoll for å måle autophagosome dannelse ved elektronmikroskopi.
