Primordiale kiemcellen (PGCs) zijn gemeenschappelijk voorlopers van zowel de zaadcellen als de eicellen. Menselijke embryonale PGCs zijn opgegeven uit pluripotente cellen van de epiblast door middel van interacties van cytokinen. Hier beschrijven we een 13-daagse protocol van het inducerende menselijke cellen transcriptomally gelijkend op PGCs aan het oppervlak van embryoid instanties van primer-pluripotent geïnduceerde pluripotente stamcellen.
