Pluripotency-støttende MEF'er og konditioneret medium (CM) opnået fra disse skal indeholde optimale koncentrationer af Activin A, Gremlin og Tgfβ1 nødvendige for aktivin / Nodal og FGF veje til at co-operativt opretholde selvfornyelse og pluripotency.
