Videoen viser fremgangsmåder til karakterisering af humane pancreasøer med hematoxylin og eosin (H & E) og immunhistokemi (IHC). Pancreatiske sektioner fra hoved, krop og hale regioner farves med både H & E og IHC at bestemme ø endokrine sammensætning (insulin, glucagon og pancreatisk polypeptid), cellereplikation (Ki67) og inflammatoriske infiltrater (H & E, CD3).
