Het volgende protocol biedt technieken voor het inkapselen van pancreatische β-cellen in stap-groei PEG-peptide hydrogels gevormd door thiol-een foto-click reacties. Dit materiaal platform niet alleen een cytocompatible micro voor cel inkapseling, maar maakt ook de gebruiker gecontroleerde snelle herstel van celstructuren gevormd binnen de hydrogels.
