Este trabalho apresenta um protocolo detalhado para fabricação de porta-definidos pontos quânticos semicondutores laterais em heteroestruturas arseneto de gálio. Estes dispositivos em nanoescala são usadas para prender alguns elétrons para uso como bits quânticos em processamento de informação quântica ou para outros experimentos mesoscópicas como medições de condutância coerentes.
