O contínuo crescimento incisivo do rato é um modelo para o estudo de renovação dos tecidos dentários a partir de células-tronco do epitélio dental (DESCs). Um sistema robusto para consistente e confiável a obtenção destas células a partir do incisivo e expandi-las in vitro é relatado aqui.
