Fordi mange zebrafisk modeller af neurologiske og ikke-neurologiske sygdomme er undersøgt i voksne fisk snarere end embryo / larver, har vi udviklet en kvantitativ sidelinje regenerativ assay, der kan anvendes til voksne zebrafisk sygdomsmodeller. Analysen involverede opløsning på 1) neuromast og 2) individuelle hår celle niveauer.
