Este artículo presenta la metodología utilizada para revelar la ilusión 'Smile Uncatchable' en el retrato La Bella Principessa de Leonardo da Vinci. Se utilizó una combinación de tres métodos (inter-observación, entrevistas estructuradas, y los experimentos psicofísicos), que dio lugar a una investigación que dio forma a sí mismo sin creencias previas, lo que reduce el sesgo potencial investigador.
