Het doel van dit protocol is om een eenvoudige en goedkope aanpak te geven voor het verzamelen van Drosophila embryo's op middelgrote schaal (0,5-1 g) en het bereiden van eiwit extracten die kunnen worden toegepast in stroomafwaartse proteomische toepassingen, zoals affiniteitszuivering-massaspectrometrie (AP-MS ).
