Dit werk bevat een standaard immunohistochemie methode om motorische neuron projecties van late-16 Drosophila melanogaster embryo's te visualiseren . De gefiltreerde bereiding van vaste embryo's die gekleurd zijn met FasII antilichaam, biedt een krachtig instrument om de genen die nodig zijn voor motor axon pathfinding en target recognition tijdens neurale ontwikkeling te karakteriseren.
