Imaging flowcytometri gir en ideell tilnærming for å oppdage morfologiske og funksjonell endring av celler på personlige og populational. Forstyrret endocytic funksjonen for lipid antigen presentasjon i forurensende-eksponerte menneskelige dendrittiske celler ble demonstrert med en kombinert transcriptomic profilering av genuttrykk og morfologiske demonstrasjon av protein menneskehandel.
