Qui viene presentato un protocollo per il rapido screening non distruttivo dei genotipi di cotone per la resistenza ai nematodi reniformi. Il protocollo prevede l'esame visivo delle radici delle piantine di cotone infettate dal nematode per determinare la risposta all'infezione. Il germoglio vegetativo di ogni pianta viene quindi propagato per recuperare gli impianti per la produzione di semi.
