Graft-versus-host ziekte is een belangrijke complicatie na allogene beenmergtransplantatie. Dendritische cellen spelen een cruciale rol in de pathogenese van graft-versus-host ziekte. Het huidige artikel beschrijft een nieuw beenmergtransplantatieplatform om de rol van dendritische cellen te onderzoeken bij de ontwikkeling van graft-versus-host ziekte en het graft-versus-leukemie-effect.
