Aqui nós apresentamos um protocolo cirúrgico nos coelhos com o objetivo avaliar materiais da substituição do osso nos termos de capacidades da regeneração do osso. Usando cilindros PEEK fixados em crânios de coelhos, osteocondução, osteoindução, osteogênese e vasculogênese induzida pelos materiais podem ser avaliados tanto em animais vivos ou eutanasiados.
