After her medical studies at the Universities of Bern (CH) she started her medical career in general surgery at the Spital Zollikerberg (Dr. Schierz) before entering neurosurgical residency at Kantonsspital Aarau (Prof. Schubert).Dr. Kümin has collaborated multiple studies on preclinical aspects of cerebrovascular disease especially in the field of aneurysm wall biology and endovascular device development in an experimental setting.
