He received his bachaler, master and doctoral degrees from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.His principal interests are the physicochemical properties of soft matter, particularly surface properties, electrooptic effects and topological properties of liquid crystals, colloids, polymers and supramolecular systems. He has also conducting application-orientated researches by using materials with liquid crystalline nature.
