Une approche est présentée ici pour l’imagerie intravitale à long terme utilisant des fenêtres en silicone optiquement claires qui peuvent être collées directement sur le tissu / organe d’intérêt et la peau. Ces fenêtres sont moins chères et plus polyvalentes que d’autres actuellement utilisées sur le terrain, et l’insertion chirurgicale provoque une inflammation et une détresse limitées chez les animaux.
