Het kweken van menselijke mesenchymale stromale cellen (hMSCs) met autologe serum, vermindert het risico op afwijzing door xenogene materiaal en andere negatieve effecten. Het staat ook voor het herstel van een subset van mesodermale voorlopercellen, die een frisse hMSCs kan leveren. Inbedding hMSCs in een autoloog fibrinestolsel maakt een eenvoudige bediening en effectieve chirurgische implantatie.
