Dieses Protokoll beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Gewinnung quantitativer Daten über die antimykotische Aktivität von Peptiden und anderen Verbindungen, wie z. B. niedermolekularen Antimykotika, gegen Candida albicans. Die Verwendung der optischen Dichte anstelle der Zählung koloniebildender Einheiten zur Quantifizierung der Wachstumshemmung spart Zeit und Ressourcen.
