Un método sencillo y específico se ha demostrado para el etiquetado fluorescente y mejorar la detección de las proteínas de la superficie celular sin una etapa de fraccionamiento. Abundancia diferencial de proteínas de superficie celular se analizó mediante electroforesis bidimensional (2-D) y Ettan ™ tecnología DIGE.
