In particular, I have been involved in investigating the relationship between hormones and VEGF-associated disorders such as retinopathy of prematurity, diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy. My work has also included the analysis of pathological changes in the neonatal retina and diabetic retina of rodent models and the analysis of retinal vascular changes in genetically modified neonatal mice, with knocked out lutropin receptors. My research findings are published in high-tier journals, and I have delivered several domestic/international presentations at scientific meetings. I have been a co-investigator on several NIH grants.
