YarringtonPhD Student Kaitlin graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology in 2018. She is currently a Microbiology PhD student at the University of Iowa, in the lab of Dominique Limoli. Her studies focus on interspecies interactions between Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus, two bacterial pathogens that commonly coinfect the airways of individuals with the genetic disease cystic fibrosis.
