Vi presenterar en experimentell metoder för att mäta partialtrycket av syre (PO2) i hjärnans kärlsystem baseras på syre-beroende härdning av fosforescens. Animal förberedelser och procedurer bildhantering angavs för både stora synfält CCD-baserad avbildning av pO2 på råttor och 2-photon excitation baserad avbildning av pO2 i möss.
