We beschrijven een reeks testen om de expressie niveaus van H1 linker histonen te analyseren. mRNA van de individuele H1 genen worden kwantitatief gemeten door een willekeurige primer op basis reverse transcriptie gevolgd door real-time PCR, terwijl eiwit kwantificering van H1 histonen wordt bereikt met behulp van HPLC-analyse.
